Egypt COP27: HEDA set to hold 2-day climate justice circle program, engages experts on climate issues

With a strong focus in shaping Nigeria and African narratives at the United Nations Framework Convention On Climate Change (UNFCCC) COP 27 in Egypt next month, a leading environmental justice and sustainable development organization, Human and Environmental Development Agenda, (HEDA Resource Centre) has concluded plans to organized a 2-day climate justice program for stakeholders and experts to discuss critical issues about climate and sustainable development.

The 2-day Climate Justice Circle Program themed “On The Road To COP 27: What Should Climate Justice Mean For Africa?” is designed to call upon Nigerians and Africans to take immediate actions to help the most vulnerable and cut back on those human activities contributing to global warming and natural disasters.  

The forum is a series of discussion panels and learning sessions with experts and stakeholders on critical issues about climate justice and sustainable development in Nigeria and Africa. A-list experts are billed to discuss as panelists on issues surrounding climate change and transformational application of climate data and technology in national development; climate and social inclusion; climate change and the arts; etc.

Meanwhile, the climate justice circle is scheduled to hold on 25th – 26th October, 2022 at The Zone Centre, Gbagada-Oshodi Expressway, Lagos, as intending participants are to register www.climatejusticecircle.org to attend the program for free.
