AANI President congratulates members conferred with National Honours 2022

The National President, Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI), former Inspector General of Police, MD Abubakar, CFR NPOM mni, on behalf of the National Executive Committee and the entire members of our exalted association, heartily rejoice with and congratulate all our members that were nominated for the award of various Nigeria’s National Honours for the year 2022 which will be conferred on them by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR on Tuesday 11th October 2022.
 
There is no doubt that their recognition and nomination for the prestigious National Honours resulted from their enormous contributions to our national development in their various fields of endeavours. 
 
Specifically, the President wishes to further congratulate and appreciate the following for making AANI proud to be so recognised for National Honours: 
 

  1.  Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, mni CFR, immediate past Inspector General of Police.
  2.   Rear Admiral SS Garba,  mni OFR, Nigerian Navy. 
  3. Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, mni OFR, immediate past Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
  4. Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni OFR, Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. 
  5. Mr Anumudu Theodore Akujobi, mni OON, a retired Permanent Secretary.  
  6. Professor Innocent Acharya O. Ujah, mni OON, President Nigerian Medical Association. 
  7. Mrs Comfort Olajumoke Etitayo, mni FCA OON, President Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.  
  8. Mr Mathew Benabafa Seiyefa, mni MFR, former Acting Director General Department of State Services. 
  9. Deputy Inspector General of Police Sanusi Nma Lemu, mni MFR, Department of Finance and Administration, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
  10. Alhaji Haliru Nababa, mni MFR, Controller General, Nigerian Correctional Service.  
  11. Dr Jonathan Yisa Jiya, mni MFR, a retired Public Servant.
  12. Mallam Halliru Mamman Dantiye, mni MFR, a retired Permanent Secretary.
  13. Commodore Muhammad Lawal Barau (rtd) mni MON.
  14. Rasheedat Adunni Okoduwa, mni MON, a retired Public Servant. 
     
    We are delighted that our members are getting national recognition and appreciation for their unquantifiable contributions to our great nation through National Honours presentation.
     
    While thanking the Federal Government for a such award, we would like to reiterate that AANI is replete with highly experienced, dedicated and educated Nigerians whose wealth of experience and knowledge have contributed to national development. 
     
    Congratulation to all those distinguished members for the well-deserved National Honours. May God continue to bless you with more wisdom, courage and determination as you give your best to the nation and live up to our motto, AANI Towards a Better Society.
